Richard Baldwin

Richard Conrad Baldwin of 118 Main St., Irvington, a retired Ardsley High School teacher, died Monday of heart failure. He was 61.

Mr. Baldwin, who taught art and drama at Ardsley High School from 1958 to 1973 and who produced and directed 15 senior plays at the school, retired in 1973 following open heart surgery.

He was for the past two years associated with Cronkhite Realty Inc. of Ardsley.

He was an Honorary Life Member of the New York State Congress of PTAs, 1977 fund chairman of the Westchester Heart Association, a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Friends of the Irvington Library and the Dobbs Ferry Hospital Association.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. C.A. Baldwin of the home address; a brother, the ReV. James R. Baldwin of Marysville, Ohio; and two nephews, C. David Baldwin of Toledo, Ohio, and Richard T. Baldwin of Delaware, Ohio.
